we all have wrong-known informations about other countries. i've heard that some europeans ask turkish people if they are from the european side or the asian side of istanbul. they ask it to learn if they live a modern place or not. because they think that the european side must be more civilized, modern and "european". they don't think that europe and civilization, modernity are the same things. some people think that turks use arabic alphabet, speak arabic. some people think that turkish men can marry with four women. some people think that it is illegal for turkish women to show their hairs or wearing sexy clothes. they even think turkish women must wear burka. some greeks think that tuks want to occupy greece. some turks think greeks think it. some of them really do. and so on... please write down the things wrong-known about your/other countries.
